Now we have to shop for a back door

In the half hour I was upstairs getting a shower this AM something hit the sliding glass door and shattered one of the glass panes. I mean the entire half of the door, shattered. It's a good thing it is double insulated. Went to Lowes to look for something comparable and it'll be about $1,000. I checked into insurance and it is covered under homeowners BUT ins companies are cracking down on policy holders who file small claims and deciding to drop them if there are claims. With the fact we have a 20% "no claim" discount Jason and I will seriously have to consider if it's worth it to file the claim. Joy.

ugh a grande for a door?? ridiculous!!

It is ridiculous! the door costs about $450 and install $550. Just like car work, the parts are cheap, it's the labor that kills ya!
