So I have saved my receipts for the past 3 weeks; just to see!!! (and I save them to get rebates if I have them)

$704.47 worth of groceries
$423.23 Savings
Total OOP: $281.24

So for the past 3 weeks, I budgetted 130.00 per week and my actual oop is 93.75 a week!!!!

I just can't seem to get the hang of it to get that big of a savings. I seriously can not spend every night running to a different store or spend all saturday going to different stores.

I shop for groceries one day a week. I'm going to start shopping at CVS or WAGS one day a week as well. I can't go to the store more than that, Jeff thinks it's rediculous to go more than once. He says get what you need all in one shot!

it is almost impossible to get that kind of savings up here!
