What I love most about couponing

I went shopping yesterday and bought groceries for the rest of the month for 130.00.

Today at lunch time everyone was going out, some of the girls were going to tropical smoothie to eat, I offered them some of my salad, they declined. When they got back I said "how much did you spend?" They spent almost 15$ on salad and smoothies.

I got bagged salad 2/5 - 2.00 coupons
EtTu kits (comes with dressing tortilla chips, corn/peppers) BOGO for 2.69
rotissery chicken 7.49 (left over from last night dinner)
cherry tomatoes 1.25 for a pint
portabella mushrooms 1.39 for a pint
Del Monte fruit chillers 1.79 - 1.00/1 IP

All together I have (including the chicken) a total investment of 19.30 and I can eat off mine for 6 lunches!!!! So I'm at $3.21 per day. Keep in mind my salad is bigger than their's and I fed my family dinner last night as well!!! AND I have fruit chillers!!!! LOL

Of course you girls know I am going to go all mathmatical with you. Since the chicken wasn't actually for lunch AND I brought in stuff for breakfast AND snack for the next 6 days this is the breakdown

So I'm eating breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks a day for SIX days at 2.365 a day!!! You can't even do that at McDonalds!!!

Or roughly .79 a meal!!!

I went to the church kitchen for breakfast and lunch all week, how does that work out? LOL

He said "Anytime you feel the urge, clock out, go to your car, start the engine, turn on the air and have a nap" He said he'd approve mats for the office but it's to hot in there to enjoy a good nap.

yeah MCd is expensive now days!
to feed my family there it currently costs 24$!!!!

Im cutting the eating out. We are spending way to much on it and my cookin is 1000000% better.

We only eat out like once a month and are saving a ton!
